NouZetwals Awards

2026

NouZetwals – meaning “Our Stars” in Mauritian Creole – is a bold, independent non-profit initiative dedicated to transforming the health and social care landscape in Mauritius. Just as stars light the night sky, our care professionals illuminate the lives of others every day. It’s time their brilliance was recognised.

Health and Social Care Excellence Summit and Awards

At the heart of our work is the Health and Social Care Excellence Summit & Awards, a landmark national celebration of those who shine brightest in service to others — across public and private sectors, clinical and non-clinical roles, in Mauritius and the diaspora.

On 25 April 2026, the inaugural ceremony will launch a new tradition: a night where care’s unsung heroes step into the spotlight, celebrated as the guiding lights of our nation.
