Hetal Maniar

Hetal Maniar is an accomplished international recruitment leader and strategist who combines senior NHS workforce expertise with entrepreneurial leadership in international student and candidate mobilisation. As International Recruitment Lead at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP), she designs and delivers large-scale recruitment programmes that bring internationally educated nurses into the NHS while ensuring safe, supported transitions into practice.

In parallel, she is Director of Anchorheart Education Services, a UK-registered international education and student recruitment consultancy. Her academic grounding – she holds a master’s degree in Financial Decision Analysis – complements a pragmatic, systems-facing approach to workforce pipeline development and stakeholder partnership.

Over nearly two decades in recruitment and international engagement, Hetal has established practical models for in-country assessment, cohort selection, and post-arrival integration – helping her employer welcome multiple cohorts of international nurses and creating progression pathways that bridge training needs and service demand.

She has led in-country recruitment visits and partnership dialogues with ministries and universities, developed streamlined processes for assessment and pastoral support, and created collaborative arrangements that reduce barriers for internationally educated practitioners joining NHS services.
