Dr Catia Nicodemo is an internationally recognised economist and academic leader specialising in health economics, inequality, and the evaluation of public policy. As a professor in Health Economics at University of Oxford and Brunel University of London and a Fellow of Kellogg Collge, she has made significant contributions to research on healthcare access, workforce sustainability, and the economics of wellbeing.
Her research portfolio spans applied econometrics, labour markets, and the social determinants of health, with a strong emphasis on translating evidence into policy. Dr Nicodemo has collaborated with governments, the OECD, and international research institutes to design data-driven strategies for improving efficiency, reducing disparities, and promoting fairness in health systems.
