Please read these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the NouZetwals website or submitting nominations, entries, bookings or other orders. By using our website or submitting an entry/booking you agree to be bound by these Terms.

References in these Terms to “we”, “us”, “our” mean NouZetwals Limited. References to “you” or “your” mean the person or organisation interacting with us (including nominees, entrants, attendees, sponsors, suppliers).

These Terms apply to:

• site usage (website content and online services);
• award nominations and entries;
• event registrations, bookings and attendance;
• any purchases or downloads from the site (where applicable).

Separate additional terms (e.g., sponsorship, exhibitor, or event-specific terms) may apply and will be provided where relevant.

When you submit a nomination or entry you represent and warrant that:

1. to the best of your knowledge, the information in the nomination/entry is accurate and truthful;
2. you confirm you are not a family member of the nominee; and
3. you will not, directly or indirectly, contact, solicit, or attempt to influence any person serving as a judge for the awards programme about your entry, the judging process, or the results.

If you are found to have provided false information or to have attempted to influence judges, we reserve the right to disqualify the entry or take other action (including removal, banning from future events, and legal action where appropriate).

• All entries and bookings are subject to availability.
• Confirmation will be sent by email where applicable.
• For paid entries or bookings, payment instructions will be provided; payment must be received by the relevant due date.
• No refunds will be given except as set out in any specific event policy or at our discretion.

We reserve the right to change event content, format, venue, date and speakers without liability. In the event of cancellation or postponement we will notify you and provide options (e.g., credit for future event) as appropriate. Our liability is limited as set out in Clause 8.

• All website content, event materials, logos and trademarks are owned by us or used with permission.
• You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or otherwise use our branding or content without prior written consent.
• Official “Shortlisted” or “Winner” logos (if any) may only be used under licence and following our usage guidance.

By attending our events or participating in activities you consent to photography, audio recording and filming, and to use of photographs/videos containing your image in our marketing/promotional materials unless you have notified us in advance.

• Our aggregate liability for losses arising from these Terms (to the extent permitted by law) will be limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant booking/entry.
• We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (including loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill).
• You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms, negligent acts or omissions, or any unlawful conduct.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to comply with applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and not to engage in conduct that might discredit or bring us into disrepute. For events, we operate a code of conduct (published separately) and expect professional behaviour at all times.

Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy (see https://nouzetwals.org/privacy-policy/). By using the site or submitting an entry you consent to our processing of personal data for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

We are not liable for failure to perform any obligation if such failure is due to events beyond our reasonable control (including acts of God, strikes, government action, pandemics, extreme weather).

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Payment processing and other services may be provided by third parties under separate terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
